∞ ∞ ∞ A night wish- never to end, As they sat on a cliff’s edge, They spoke in words of future past, Under the moonlight beauty smile. They were linked in an eternal bond. They wished the dawn would never come, As the magical night glowed in their favour. Their feelings were sure and real, Nevertheless, the night’s fate is short. Morn crept in slowly, As the sun rose from her sleep, Time became the reaper, Drawing them apart. Feelings real and sure; There ought to be more, It’s morn and time is no more, Yet amidst the storm, They decided never to give up. If by chance or in a million years to come, The same moon chooses to smile, Dancing to their tune once again. Around a bonfire camp, The story would be told, Like a regular fairy tale of old; Of a stately princess and a fairy prince, Whose happily ever after Was never meant to be together. ∞ ∞ ∞
