Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Poetry by Cotek (the “Service”). By creating an account or publishing work, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, if higher) and able to form a binding agreement. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it current.

2. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. One person or entity per account; do not impersonate others.

3. Your content & the license you grant

You keep the copyright to everything you write. By publishing on the Service, you grant Poetry by Cotek a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your work on and in connection with the Service — including in collections, search, shareable images, and promotion of the Service. This license ends when you delete the work or your account, except for copies we must retain for legal or backup purposes and for content others have already shared.

You represent that you own or have the rights to what you publish, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or break the law.

4. Acceptable use

Your use must follow our Content Policy. In addition, do not: probe or disrupt the Service or its security; scrape or harvest data without permission; misuse automated access; or use the Service to break any law.

5. Moderation & enforcement

We may screen, review, remove, or unpublish content, and may warn, suspend, or terminate accounts, at our discretion and without prior notice, to enforce these Terms or the Content Policy. We are not obligated to host any particular work.

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (licenses already granted to others, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always be preserved.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Poetry by Cotek and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or content, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Poetry by Cotek and its operators from claims arising out of your content or your breach of these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date; continued use after changes means you accept them.
