Ambassadors

107 words·54s read
Awe-struck we stood, here, at life’s pool,
Thinking, how can we be full?
Forgetting the sun still feeds the moon.

With eyes, yet we’re blind,
Sediments of ego and pride,
Thus fills our mind,
In darkness, we’re defined.

We delimit what is right.
Defining darkness as no light,
Taking pleasure in its delight
Against time, in blindness, we fight.

Remember you’re a moon.
Longing to shine so soon.
Surrounded by darkness- not cool.
At least you can glow like a ghoul.

Don’t fuddle here and there,
Rather spit out your fear,
You need the Sun near and dear,
Whose light is bright and fair.
