Fragile Heart

118 words·59s read
Standing amidst the crowd,
With noises of various sounds
And of indistinct voices,
Speaking of whatsoever businesses.

All I could hear still,
Was the heartbeat of one
Right in front of me,
Whose words encompass me.

A fragile heart she has,
I can tell for sure,
’Cos her words define it
And her eyes show it.

This fragile heart of hers,
I’d love to cherish,
For it’s a gift from above,
One I’d love to behold.

The rhythm of her words
Flows through her lips,
In awe, I stand,
To admire the beauty before me.

Then, as we depart,

All I could think of
Was how precious it is,
To behold a heart like hers.
