(Courageous spirit; determination)

When I got tired of life;
I asked; why?
Life was not mine to give
It's not mine to take,
It is a gift;
Given to me by grace.

If tonight I find a reason to hate my life
In the morning remind me of the gift of love,
The same I found on the cross.
Shame will be my name,
If Life is given by grace;
I refuse to live,
'Cos of my temporal pain.

I'll ignore the day
That brought me shame
And look forward to the day
That glory awaits.

So if I ever get tired of life;
I'll repeat to myself this line,
"The Lord is my Shepherd"
I'll remember
To live one breath at a time.
Till my present becomes my past
One I'll look back to with a grateful heart.

If I ever get tired of life,
I'll take a deep breath
And repent of my pride
That made me believe it’s all about me.
I'll take a long walk in my street
Taking account of people's countenance,
Seeing we all carry a burden;
Some heavier or weighty, it's never light.
I'll remind myself these lines;
Come to me,
All you who are weary and burdened.
