The Cerulean Monster

I went to a place;
The birthplace of tranquil,
I saw a mighty beast;
A giant that once scared me.

It solely feels serene,
As the moment enthrals me.
The eyes I saw reflect the sun,
It gleams like glinting rays,
Its mouth, though without teeth;
Opens wide as it comes near me,
I quiver at its splatter of spit.

It breathes in and out,
Gently, at times with a rough tide,
It roars in pride and might.

In fear, yet with curiosity,
I stood to observe;
It is clear as the daylight,
And deep as the firmament,
It beckons me with a gentle touch,
I tremble no more,
I could feel the warmth
As it welcomes me in,
One step further;
Gazing into the deep blue eyes,
The beast was gentle and kind,
Upon its wings, I smoothly fly,
Free from worries at this time.

This place of tranquil
I'll visit all the time.
