Turn To Him

171 words·1m read
Rebellion is a melting ice
A pleasure that lasts only a while
The dark days will come,
Though sin appears fun and bright.
If this course, a charted road we take,
There is indeed a price to pay,
The call to return may seem high-priced,
On and on through the tunnel of rebellion.
Eternal ruin becomes the sum,
Too late to turn, too late to come.

Here and now, hear and act,
The word of life springs forth
From the preacher's mouth, return, he calls.
Today is the day of salvation.
Return, before you fall.
Salvation already bought,
The price, fully paid on the cross,
Jesus' arms open wide,
The path through salvation's gate,
His blood paid the price.

Rebellion, though pleasurable
One end is sure on this path,
Ruin is the surest gain,
Perility at the highest pace.
Repentance, the response at stake,
Though narrow is this gate,
Eternal life is yours to gain.
Jesus' arms open wide,
Turn to Him before it's too late,
He alone gives eternal life.
