Vengeful Love

106 words·53s read
What use is love when it can’t forgive,
And its purpose is based on vengeance?
What gain is there in love when it gives more hurt?
What use is love when it holds on to the past,
And feeds you your errors over and over again?
The pleasures of lust at times make a good deal,
God forbid you to choose that again,
But, when in love you chose to stay,
’Cos love forgives all sins they say,
Why then does it hunt your past mistakes?
Telling you peace- you will never have.
What then shall we call this?
Revenge, mistaken for love?
