I must confess, the company of the stars was the best, They would never take rest, they rejoice through aeons, As they oft celebrate the death of loved ones, It's usual and it's the norm in this world. They wouldn't forget to glow or shine As long as they have life In them, They are the definition of living, Glorying in their maker's beauty. I've once shaken hands with a celestial queen Whose kingdom was savaged by the fearsome Leosap tribe. I was there when she died, How can I ever forget what she told me? As her lashes kissed, She gently whispered; 'death isn't my last'. I once witnessed a triumphant march against the giants of mount Paraxim. Oh, it wasn't easy, Victory was our song at the end of the day, But it's forever day, so 'just at the end of the war' we'd say.
