The creator of time
Has given to us all a gift;
The night he gave us our being.

To some, he gave ten,
To others, at most thirty,
Some are given fifty,
To some, seventy,
A few, ninety,
Very few a hundred and above.

He's given us time
To spend as we deem fit,
Of course, with guidelines,
Signs here and there,
To guide us through our journey,
He gave us free will as well,
To follow the truth,
An outburst of love and grace.

Many spend time as they will,
Many invest time wisely,
Some spend lavishly
Thinking they have so much,
It was a test, a taste of timeless days.

Soon after all this is done,
At the eternity gate,
We'll all give account,
Of how well we spend our time,
Everyone, appearing one by one,
Before entering the timeless days
Shall have their time checked and tested.
