Our paramount issue;
Our paramount issue is not that we face issues in this world,
Nor ailments that come to us all,
Nor the pain of losing loved ones,
Nor the lack of better living or climatic rise and fall,
Nor the fact that we will face death someday;
But that we stand condemned before the Ancient of Days
A holy God with whom sin can’t stand before His face.

Our grandest victory;
Our grandest victory is not that we gain the whole world,
It’s not in the conquering of kingdoms and winning wars,
It’s not in mounting riches that last only for a while;
But that Christ, the sinless one, came to die on a cross,
Sent by God, through grace to save us from the wrath of God,
Victory beyond human design, whose glory we can’t deny,
Victory indeed, not ours, but Christ’s.

Our principal role;
Our principal role is not to do our best to showcase ourselves,
Not to live so smart as though we own the earth;
But to believe in the finished work of Christ,
To reflect then his glory in our lives,
To shine so bright, that the world, our father, glorify
To decrease so much, that He may increase,
To live a life that on that final day,
We’ll hear, “Welcome, good and faithful servants.”
