Paint it red, blue, or white,
Conceive it as you please in your mind,
No matter how appealing its design,
It will always be dark in and out side.
Sin will always be sin

Call it normal, call it fine,
Call it grey; put your soul on the line.
Paint it green, however you like,
Sin will always be sin.

Dark and deeper than night,
You'll never see,
Even in your clearest sight,
The damage sin brings
In the absence of the light.
Sin will always be sin.
Grieve your sins; run to Christ,
Run from sin,
It's not worth the price,
Christ beckons; repent, your response.
Sin will always be sin,
Forgiveness of sin Christ brings.
