∞ ∞ ∞ A king; Once upon a time, Sent forth his son to his beloved people, To a town, far away, They’ve indeed gone astray And have long yearned to be saved. His arrival was rejected by many, He was doubted at his appearance, For like a slave he came to serve and save, But his blood was shed and given unto death. Never do those who took his life Knew it was the king’s plan. A sacrifice of love he sent his son- a lamb, In place of his people held captive, Inconceivable, yet true. An atonement was given And the son has risen. In light of his glory, He’s to take them back To the king’s palace. A place where wants never exist, Satisfaction is fully satisfying, No need for needs and greed forever ceases. Unto those humble to accept his love, And unto the elected- yet few, They shall inherit the kingdom as promised, Back to the king’s palace, they shall return, And forever live in light and love of the king Whom shall reign through eternity. ∞ ∞ ∞
