To The Coming Groom

84 words·42s read
Deep and lost amidst thorns and dirt,
Yet He searched me out.
At first glance- just a regular preacher.
He veiled His glory to appear ordinary.
He came to me as a shepherd,
In love, I fell for him, so madly.
Alas! He’s the king,
He graced me with love into His royal Kingdom.
He is surely mine
And I am truly His.
My lamp will forever burn,
In wait for my glorious king,
To answer my beloved when He calls.
