The sun rose from His sleep
And declares a new day,
We enjoy the days as it goes by,
Fun in it could make us forget about time,
As darkness began to race 'ward us,
We fear and are dismayed,
Darkness comes in all its forms,
Most times- we're used to it,
Loved ones die, others leave,
It's not new, we know the drill,
But one darkness comes only once in a while,
A solar eclipse, birthing sudden darkness,
With or without prior warning,
It comes; into the dark goes our morning.

Now, don't fret at all my friend,
Just as we all know, it's only for a little while,
Endure the dark, even when it hurts,
Admire the moon, even when it's blood,
This will surely fade,
Archived or portrayed in our memory lane,
History is what they'll become,
A new time will surely come,
As the sun renews her strength.
Stretching forth and His mighty rays spread,
It's about time my friend;
The Bright and Morning Star has arrived,
Behold His beauty and majesty
For the dark days are over
A timeless Morn has just begun.
