The Professional Pledge

I pledge to my profession,
To be faithful, persistent, strong and patient.
To believe in the spirit of teamwork,
Not to be burning coal in an ocean,
But to give my best in all I do,
To share my knowledge with ease,
And to stand firm in this noble profession,
To watch, learn and do better,
To enjoy seeing happiness in others,
To look up to those who have gone ahead,
But to do so without an act of jealousy.
To refine my thoughts daily,
But it should be of positive impact on my society,
So that others can look up to me without submission.
To shine forth my light is a must
And to give others the chance to do the same.
