Lamentations Of The Poet

102 words·51s read
My faith is fading,
I’m growing weary,
In hope- I feign,
Even when nothing’s clear.

I’m in despair,
I see life as evil,
This is what I fear,
I should blame the devil.

Trouble surrounds me thus,
Failure dine at my table,
I feel damned and cursed,
Life, of course, is unstable.

I believe in miracles,
An encounter can change the story,
A new page in the book of the Oracle,
Grace to feel no worry.

My eyes are lifted,
Unto heavens far and beyond,
A question to the creator,
Will you be glad if I ever give up?
