Here is the line I regret, One I never thought to write. I’ve never learnt to say Bye, No matter how far in life I tread. We once met as strangers, Quite new to one another, We wander through the aisle of life, Getting to know each other, Soon, we became familiar, More than that we became one, ’Cos we acted like families, And too attached to one another. Then comes time smiling on, As it runs towards us. Catching up with us after years of race, Telling us it’s time for byes, A painful truth we can’t deny. Now we carry on the memories through life, One we share in common, Like a tree planted in us, With fruits of diverse stories. Future holds a lot for us, And that’s where we all are heading. Nevertheless, we are forever one, 'Cos one love binds us all. Let’s carry on our legacy, Making ourselves proud, As we climb 'wards the hill Singing along as we go, Until we meet again, In the nearest future, Not too far from here, Till then my friends; Stay blessed my friends. ∞ ∞ ∞
