The Last Kings

Back in the days when kings go to war,
Death and time were the fiercest of them all,
Kings and warriors fell by their swords
As they all faced death equally,
And their empires consumed by time.

Unstoppable were they, as they rage terror.
Until, love, they met— The king with no bounds,
Saving the strong and weak,
Ruling over all at once,
Death lost his sting,
Oh, time! Strong and ferocious
Yet, couldn’t subdue him,
Forever love reigns,
Pouring out peace to all,
Both to great and small.
