The pure in heart

Blessed are the pure in heart,
Those who set their heart apart
A difficult task at hand.
Worry not about this lot,
It's beyond the mortal's might,
Not an excuse for weakness
To permit the immoral pleasures
That drive majority crazy and hell-bound,
No, not a silly stench of weird freaks
Who in vague pretence cover up their sins.
But the genuineness in true weakness
And the realness in strife for purity
Mindful and fearful in holy reverence
Seeking truly the path to holiness,
Midst the tarnished carnal of the mortal world,
Calling others to join their course
Walking 'ward light and away from dark,
Letting light be their guide
Through the narrow path,
Their eyes shall never be shut again,
For their heart is being renewed
As open as they ought to be,
They shall see the fullness of God's glory.
